Itinerary

Day 01: - Arrival Delhi by Flight                                                                                              

Welcome upon arrival at Delhi’s International airport, meeting and assistance transfer to hotel.

Overnight at Hotel.

Day 02`– Delhi / Agra (205kms/ 04-05hrs)                                                                                                                           

Morning after breakfast .Enjoy half day sightseeing of New Delhi -- the new capital designed by Sir Edward Lutyens. 
Drive past the India Gate (war memorial dedicated to the lives of laid down by the Indian soldiers), the president's residence - formerly the Viceroy's Palace, parliament House and the Secretariat buildings, - an interesting blend of the Victorian and 20th century architecture.
Visit the Lotus Temple, also called Bahai Temple (closed on all Monday). This distinctive lotus shaped marvel in marble is surrounded by a landscaped garden and is a symbol of peace.
Also visit the 12th century Qutab Minar, gracefully hand-carved for its entire height of 234ft, and the iron pillar, which has withstood the ravages of time and not rusted even after 1500 years.

After sightseeing there Lunch at Local Restaurant in Delhi.
Later drive to Agra (205 Kms / 04-05 hrs drive).

Upon arrival check in to hotel. 

Dinner and overnight stay at Hotel.

Day 03: - Agra / Jaipur (245kms / 05-06hrs)                                                           

Morning after breakfast.  Proceed for sightseeing visiting  Taj Mahal & Agra Fort.

Taj Mahal - the greatest love story ever told. On the death of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal, in wild extravagance, Shah Jehan built her this memorial.  20,000 men laboured for over 17 years to build this wealth of white marble and precious stone. (Taj Mahal Is Closed On Fridays)

Later on visit Agra Fort- The red sandstone fort as seen today was constructed by Emperor Akbar in 1573 and additions to the building continued till the time of his grandson Shahjahan. Agra Fort won the Aga Khan Award for Architecture in 2004 and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The tough exterior of the fort with its massive walls, ramparts and battlements was meant to project an unconquerable image of the Mughal Empire and the fort. The fort has four gates and the one that forms the entrance now is called Lahore Gate. 
After sightseeing there Lunch at Local Restaurant  in Agra.

Later drive to Agra (245 Kms / 05-06 hrs drive).

Upon arrival check in to hotel. 

Dinner and overnight stay at Hotel.

Day 04: - Jaipur                                                                                                              

Morning Amber Fort with elephant ride. Amber is a classic, romantic Rajasthani fort Palace. The rugged, time-ravaged walls of the Fort may not look beautiful from the outside, but the interior is a virtual paradise. Miniatures painted on the walls depict hunting and war scenes, apart from festivals. Precious stones and mirrors are embedded into the plaster. A major attraction at Amber is the Elephant Ride all the way up to the Fort entrance. This journey on caparisoned

An elephant is bound to enrich your memories with the Royal lifestyle of the Maharajas and leave you with a truly unforgettable experience.
En route to Amber Fort, you will have a brief photography stop at Hawa Mahal - the Palace of Winds.
                                                                                           
Afternoon city tour begins with a visit to the Maharaja's City Palace, the former Royal residence, part of it converted into a museum. A small portion is still used by the Royal family of Jaipur. Built in the style of a fortified campus, the palace covers almost one-seventh in area of the city. One of the major attractions in the museum is the portion known as Armory Museum housing an impressive array of weaponry-pistols, blunderbusses, flintlocks, swords, rifles and daggers. The royal families of Jaipur once used most of these weapons. Also visit Jantar Mantar.

Day 05: - Jaipur / Mumbai By Flight                                                                                                                                         

Morning after breakfast, free to explore local market.

Lunch at Local restaurant.

In time transfer to airport to board flight for Mumbai .Upon arrival at Mumbai airport transfer to hotel.

Dinner and overnight stay at Hotel.

Day 06: - Mumbai                                                                                                                                                                            

After breakfast , Enjoy Full day sightseeing of Mumbai.  Visit Elephanta Caves (closed on Mondays and during monsoon period).

The island of Elephanta is just an hour away from Mumbai by motor launch. The cave temples here, excavated between the 5th and 8th centuries AD, are famous for their magnificently sculpted panels. The best known is one that depicts the Maheshmurti - a three-headed image of Lord Shiva. This island was so named by the Portuguese after the large stone elephant near the landing place and which now stands at the Victoria and Albert Museum in the mainland. The caves are reached by a stairway up the hillside from the ferry landing.

Then proceed for city tour of Mumbai. Visit the Gateway of India, Mumbai’s principal landmark. This arch of yellow basalt was erected on the waterfront in 1924 to commemorate King George V’s visit to this colony in 1911. Afghan Church built in memory of those who fell in the First Afghan War. Drive past the Bombay High Court built in Gothic style and the Old secretariat.

The ornamental university building with its 280 ft. high Rajabhai Clock Tower, the ornate Victoria Terminus, the colorful Crawford Market, the Flora Fountain in the large bustling square at the heart of the city. Drive along the Marine Drive which is known as the Queen’s Necklace. View the memorial to Haji Ali, a Muslim Saint. This unusual shrine stands on an island 500m out at sea and is linked by a causeway to the mainland. Malabar Hill with the Kamla Nehru Park Visit the Hanging Gardens which offer a splendid view of the city, and drive past the Mahalaxmi Temple.

Day 07: - Leave Mumbai                                                                                                                                                                   

Morning after breakfast, free to explore local market.

In time transfer to airport to board flight for onward destination.
