Itinerary

Day 01 : Arrival  Delhi     

                                                                                                        
Welcome upon arrival at Delhi International airport, after assistance transfer to Hotel.
Morning proceed for half day the sightseeing of Delhi, visiting the 12th century Qutab Minar, gracefully hand-carved for its entire height of 234ft, and the iron pillar, which has withstood the ravages of time and not rusted even after 1500 years, the Lotus Temple, also called Bahai Temple (closed on all Monday) this distinctive lotus shaped marvel in marble is surrounded by a landscaped garden and is a symbol of peace. Similar in style to the Sydney opera house is this white marble and concrete structure in the shape of a lotus flower.
Also visit India Gate, Parliament House and drive past President House.

Day 02: Delhi / Agra                                     

                                                                   
Breakfast at hotel.
Then  proceed for the city sightseeing visiting the world famous Taj Mahal built by Shah Jahan in  1630 for his queen Mumtaz Mahal to enshrine her mortal remains. This architectural marvel is a perfectly proportioned masterpiece fashioned from white marble that stands testimony to the still of 20,000 craftsmen brought together from Persia, Turkey, France and Italy and who took 17 year to complete this 'Love Poem in Marble'. (Taj Mahal is closed on Friday). Later on visit Agra fort behind its forbidding red sandstone battlements lie palaces that tell the story of the Mughul Empire. (Taj Mahal Is Closed On Fridays)

The most impressive part of the Fort is the Dewan-e-Am, where the Emperor sat on his throne to dispense to his subjects, and the Dewan-e-Khas where he received foreign dignitaries

Day 03:  Agra – Fatehpur Sikri - Jaipur                                                           

After breakfast transfer to Jaipur, En route visiting Fatehpur Sikri altogether a journey of about 6-7 hours (237 Kms). Fatehpur Sikri was built by Emperor Akbar in 1569 and abandoned after 15 years due to scarcity of water.

Visit the remarkably well-preserved, graceful buildings within the 'Ghost City' including the Jama Masjid, tomb of Salim Chisti, Panch Mahal Palace and other palaces that speak of the grandeur and splendor of the Mughal empire at the height of its power.
On arrival at Jaipur, transfer to Hotel. Overnight stay at Hotel

Day 04: Jaipur                                                      

Morning Amber Fort with elephant ride. Amber is a classic, romantic Rajasthani fort Palace. The rugged, time-ravaged walls of the Fort may not look beautiful from the outside, but the interior is a virtual paradise. Miniatures painted on the walls depict hunting and war scenes, apart from festivals. Precious stones and mirrors are embedded into the plaster. A major attraction at Amber is the Elephant Ride all the way up to the Fort entrance.
En route to Amber Fort, you will have a brief photography stop at Hawa Mahal - the Palace of Winds, Built of red and pink sandstone.                                        
  
Afternoon city tour begins with a visit to the Maharaja's City Palace, the former Royal residence, part of it converted into a museum. A small portion is still used by the Royal family of Jaipur. Built in the style of a fortified campus, the palace covers almost one-seventh in area of the city.
Also visit Jantar Mantar, an astronomical observatory, is a collection of architectural astronomical instruments.

Day 05:  Jaipur / Delhi                                                                                       

After breakfast, transfer to Delhi (265 Kms / 06 hrs drive) upon arrival at Delhi transfer to hotel.

Upon arrival in Delhi. Proceed for visit Raj Ghat , Set in the midst of deep green lawns, Raghat is the place where Mahatma Gandhiwas cremated . A memorial to the father of the nation, Rajghat is a simple square platform with a black memorial stone with “Hey Ram” inscribed on it.
Later proceed to visit Jama Masjid (Mosque) –which is the largest mosque in India. & visit The Red sandstone walls of the massive Red Fort (Lal Qila) rise 33-m above the clamour of old Delhi as a reminder of the magnificent power and pomp of the Mughal emperors.The walls ,built in 1638, were designed to keep out invaders, now they mainly keep out the noise and confusion of the city.


From Red Fort parking to Jama Masjid enjoy cycle Rickshas ride going through the narrow lanes of Chandni Chowk with shops on both the sides.

Day 06: -Delhi Departure

After breakfast in time transfer to International airport to board flight for Bangalore.
